The Retreat Association is a national Christian organisation set up to help people find ways of exploring and deepening their journey with God through spirituality and prayer. We are an ecumenical organisation supporting those from both inside and outside the Church.
The Beamsley Project is an independent charity that provides specialist holiday accommodation for people with disabilities and their carers. Set in the beautiful Wharfedale valley, the Project converted the former Methodist chapel, at Beamsley, into a centre for self-catering groups to enjoy the many attractions of North Yorkshire. Our regular visitors tend to come during the spring and summer and this means that the Project could be used more from October to March. During that period we invite church and community groups to use the facilities for mid-week (Mondays to Fridays) and weekend gatherings (Fridays to Sundays/Mondays).
